Choosing a stylist is mostly about comfort.
Some clients prefer to speak their native language. Others feel more relaxed with a certain personality, gender, or level of experience.
There is no “best” stylist — only the one that feels right for you.
Here are a few simple ways to decide:
• Do you prefer a Czech, English, German or Ukrainian speaking stylist?
• Do you feel more comfortable with a male or female stylist?
• Are you looking for a safe maintenance cut or a bigger change?
• Do you prefer a more experienced stylist or a more affordable option?

Martina
Senior Stylist at POP since 2017. Also supports salon management and helps run the team when Mark is away.
Confident with women’s and men’s cuts, colour and highlights, including naturally curly and wavy hair. Known for consistent, precise work and a calm, friendly approach.

Angelina
Currently on maternity leave, enjoying time with her daughter. We look forward to her returning to POP in the future, likely on a part-time basis as an Established Stylist.

Antonin
Senior Stylist – Men’s & Women’s cuts, colour, highlights, curls
Antonin has been part of POP since the very beginning. With around 15 years of experience, he is confident across all areas, with a particularly strong eye for colour corrections and shape.
He speaks excellent English and is also the team member who most enjoys classic upstyles — a great choice for events or special occasions.

Yasaka Scissors
are our weapon of choice at POP.
Yasaka is a traditional Japanese steel company making high quality scissors in Japan for over 50 years.
I've been using Yasaka scissors since 1993 and although I've tried other brands in between I keep coming back to Yasaka. The quality level / value for money balance is excellent and for most of my work I only use one pair.
At POP we don't use thinning scissors, which is also why we don't sell them, but there are so many creative texturing techniques for which these scissors are superb; you won't need anything else.
